I know just how difficult of a drug Meth is to come off or and to relapse on. It is the devil himself and the evil no matter how long you may be sober for will still haunt you at sometime. I think its most important to look at yourself in the mirror and say positive things to yourself eachday.... like I am strong and intelligent. I love myself and my body enough to reject/not allow anything bad in. I choose to live happy and be clean from meth. I am capable of doing great things and helping others. ------
You should never set to high of expectations for yourself because when you do that and you fail you will criticize and think/talk poorly about yourself. Instead set your goals for sobriety low and give yourself a pat on the back or treat yourself to something nice when you achieve them. If you do not achieve what you set out to remember it is okay your not the first and you wont be the last. Talk about your relapses and encourage yourself to let this be a lesson and think about things in the future you could do instead of finding some.
